Development and Recreation Overview Summer Program

Boys and Girls Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st-High School

BRYC Basketball is offered to players looking to develop basketball skills, play in a competitive environment, and enjoy a weekly local game. BRYC gives players the chance to play against other BRYC teams, and also welcomes intact teams. The recreation program requires one game a week, there are no practices during the summer season. Seasons are 6 games. All coaches are volunteers and often parents. BRYC encourages parents to volunteer and share the excitement of basketball firsthand. 

Financial Aid option: If you have Medicaid and/or qualify for free or reduced lunch, please register under the "Financial Aid" option and email supporting documents to basketball@bryc.org. Players will not be placed on a team until supporting documentation has been received. 

Registration is based on current 2024-2025 school grade. 

Summer League typically begins in mid-June and runs through the end of July. 

While "BRYC Basketball Never Stops" we focus primarily on development and learning basketball from Pre-K to 12th Grade.

Pre K & K Skills Class

The class is primarily designed for three and four year old players who want to play basketball, but are not yet ready for the practice/game component of the league. Classes are offered Saturday mornings for six weeks. The focus is on helping players learn and develop the fundamentals of basketball such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, while also having fun.
