Recreational Spring Basketball - Spring 2026

Development and Recreation Overview Program

Boys and Girls Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st-8th grade

BRYC Basketball is offered to players looking to develop basketball skills, play in a competitive environment, and enjoy a weekly local game. BRYC gives players the chance to play against BRYC teams. The Rec program requires one game a week on a weekday (no weekend commitment). Seasons are 6 games. All coaches are volunteers and often parents. BRYC encourages parents to volunteer and share the excitement of basketball firsthand.

Financial Aid option: If you have Medicaid and/or qualify for free or reduced lunch, please register under the "Financial Aid" option and email supporting documents to basketball@bryc.org. Players will not be placed on a team until supporting documentation has been received. 

Registration is based on current 2025-2026 school grade. 

Spring League typically begins in early April and runs through the end of May. 

While "BRYC Basketball Never Stops" we focus primarily on development and learning basketball from Pre-K to 8th Grade.

Travel Basketball - Spring 2026

SPRING TRAVEL REGISTRATION

Registration fee for spring travel will be $99.

Please list your coaches name in the "coach request" section of the registration form. 

Only register if the coach has confirmed with you that your child has made the team.

5th Grade boys. coached by Nathan Shin

6th Grade boys, coached by Jeff Wessmiller

BRYC Tarheels (10th and 11th Grade Boys), coached by Dash Edwards

Spring AAU Tryouts Registration - Spring I 2026

SPRING AAU OPEN GYMS/TRYOUTS REGISTRATION

We will have four brand new AAU teams this spring season for BRYC basketball!

Open Gyms/Tryouts cost $10 per player to attend (one time fee to attend all dates). Open gyms will start the week of March 16th but are still TBD. 

Here are the teams starting this season:

Boys 4th Grade, coached by Alex Nasher

Girls 6th Grade, coached by Jordan Osborne and Vivek Bajpai

Boys 7th Grade, coached by Sean McCarthy

Boys 8th Grade, coached by Lincoln Bonner
